Coinstash gives early access to a wide range of emerging low-cap coins, and sometimes we list these for trading before full automated wallet support is available. If you try to deposit one of these coins and see a message like "Couldn't get a deposit address" or "Asset is not supported by wallet service", you can still deposit by requesting an address from our team. This guide shows you how.
Before you start
Account tier: Your account must be at least Tier 1 verified to make any crypto deposit. See What are Account Verification Tiers?
Have these details ready: the exact amount of crypto you plan to deposit, and roughly when you plan to send it.
Don't send anything yet. Wait until our team gives you the address, network and any memo/tag.
How to request a deposit address
Step 1 – Start the request
Desktop / mobile website: Click the Request Deposit Address button.
Mobile app: Tap the Contact Support button.
Step 2 – Chat with our team
A live chat window will open with our Brisbane-based support team.
Step 3 – Provide your deposit details
To help us track and credit your funds efficiently, our team will ask for:
The exact amount of crypto you intend to deposit
Your estimated timeframe for the transfer
Step 4 – Receive your address
Our team will provide the unique wallet address, the network to use, and any required tag (such as a Memo or Destination Tag) directly in the chat. If you leave the chat, these details will be emailed to you.
Step 5 – Send the funds
From your external wallet or exchange, send the amount you told us to the address provided. Copy and paste the address, select the exact network our team specified, and include the memo/tag if one was given.
Step 6 – Send us your Transaction Hash (TXID) ⚠️
Once you've completed the transfer, you must give us the Transaction Hash (TXID). Without it, our team can't manually verify the blockchain movement and credit the funds to your Coinstash balance. Just paste the TXID into your existing support chat. See How to find your Transaction Hash (TXID).
What happens next
Because these deposits are handled manually by our team, they may take slightly longer to reflect in your account than automated deposits (such as BTC or ETH). You may also be asked to confirm where the deposit came from under the Travel Rule. See Understanding the Travel Rule.
⚠️ Important
Use the exact network our team specifies. Sending low-cap coins over the wrong network often results in the permanent loss of the assets.
Don't reuse the address for a different coin. The address is provided for the coin you asked about.
Include the memo/tag if one is provided, or your deposit may not be matched to your account.
Troubleshooting
I can't find the coin at all when I search. See Troubleshooting "No Coins Found".
The app asked me for a TXID in a 3-step flow instead. That's our manual deposit flow. See How to Make a Manual Crypto Deposit.
I've sent the funds but forgot to send the TXID. Reply in your support chat with the TXID as soon as you can. Your deposit can't be credited until we have it.
