Transferring Crypto: From Swyftx to Coinstash

Step-by-step guide to moving crypto from Swyftx to Coinstash: get your Coinstash address, whitelist it on Swyftx, then complete the withdrawal with 2FA.

Moving your crypto from Swyftx to Coinstash takes a few steps, because Swyftx asks you to add and verify ("whitelist") a new address before you can send to it. This guide walks you through getting your Coinstash address, whitelisting it on Swyftx, and finalising the withdrawal.

Before you start

  • Account tier: Your Coinstash account must be at least Tier 1 verified to receive crypto deposits. See What are Account Verification Tiers?

  • Your phone, email and authenticator app: Swyftx will ask for an SMS code, an email confirmation and a 2FA code.

  • Same name on both accounts: Under the Travel Rule, we can only accept deposits sent from accounts in your own name.

Part 1 – Get your Coinstash wallet address

  1. Open deposits: Click the Deposit button on your Coinstash dashboard.

  2. Select crypto: Choose Crypto and press Next.

  3. Search your asset: Select the coin you want to move (for example BTC, ETH or SOL). If you see "No coins found", it may be a trading-only asset. See Troubleshooting "No Coins Found".

  4. Choose the network: Select the correct blockchain network (for example ERC-20, BEP-20 or Solana), and remember it.

  5. Copy the address: Click the Copy icon next to the wallet address. If a memo or tag is shown, copy that too.

Part 2 – Add and verify the address on Swyftx

  1. Go to Withdraw: Click Withdraw in the Swyftx side menu.

  2. Select the asset: Search for the coin you're transferring.

  3. Add the address: Click Add a new address, then enter:

    • Nickname: for example "My Coinstash Wallet"

    • Address: paste your Coinstash wallet address (and memo/tag, if any)

    • Network: make sure this matches exactly the network you selected on Coinstash

  4. Authorise: Enter the SMS code and click the verification link sent to your email.

  5. Wallet verification (if required): Swyftx may ask for a screenshot of your Coinstash wallet to prove you own the destination account. If you're not sure what to provide, contact our support team and we'll help.

Part 3 – Finalise the withdrawal

  1. Select the address: Once verified, select "My Coinstash Wallet" on the withdrawal screen.

  2. Enter the amount: Choose how much to send and provide a reason for the withdrawal (for example, "Transfer to personal exchange"). If you're asked for recipient details, enter Coinstash as the receiving platform and your full legal name exactly as it appears on your Coinstash account.

  3. Complete 2FA: Enter your 6-digit authenticator app code (or SMS code) and confirm the final email prompt to broadcast the transaction.

After you send

  • Wait for confirmation: The transfer must be confirmed on the blockchain before it shows in Coinstash. Track it with the TXID from your Swyftx history. See How to find your TXID.

  • Confirm the source: Coinstash may ask where the deposit came from. Choose An exchange or platform and search for Swyftx. See Understanding the Travel Rule.

🛡️ Critical security reminders

  • Matching networks: If you send crypto on the wrong network (for example, sending Ethereum via BNB Chain when Coinstash expects ERC-20), your funds will likely be permanently lost.

  • Memo/tags: Certain coins such as XRP, XLM or ATOM need a Memo or Destination Tag. If Coinstash provides one, you must include it on the Swyftx withdrawal screen or your funds will not be credited.

  • Copy and paste only: Wallet addresses are long and case-sensitive.

Troubleshooting

Swyftx won't let me send to my Coinstash address. Make sure the address has been fully verified (SMS and email) on Swyftx first.

Swyftx shows it as sent, but it's not in Coinstash. Check the Coinstash app for any prompt to confirm the source, then contact us with the TXID.
