Requirements for upgrading
To be eligible for Tier 3, your account must already be Tier 2 verified. If it isn't yet, see How do I Upgrade My Account to Tier 2?
The main requirement for Tier 3 is providing Proof of Address. This helps us maintain our Trust and Compliance standards and ensures we are meeting Australian regulatory requirements.
Which documents are accepted?
Accepted documents: Utility bills (electricity/gas), bank statements or phone bills.
Requirement: The document must clearly show your full name and address, and it must be dated within the last 3 months.
Format: A clear digital copy — a photo or PDF.
Step-by-step upgrade process
Open your settings:
Desktop: Click your Profile Name (top right) > Settings.
Mobile App: Tap your Profile Image (top right) > My Account > Edit.
Unlock Tier 3: Locate the Unlock Tier 3 panel and click the Upgrade button.
Upload your document: Upload a clear digital copy (photo or PDF) of a document that proves your current residential address.

Tips for a fast approval
Ensure the document is not a PO Box — it must show a physical residential address.
Make sure all four corners of the document are visible in your photo.
Double-check that the name on the document matches the name on your Coinstash account exactly.
Check the date — anything older than 3 months can't be accepted.
FAQ
Can I use a document in someone else's name, like a partner's or parent's bill? No. The name on the document must match the name on your Coinstash account exactly.
My bill only shows a PO Box. What can I use instead? Try a different accepted document — for example, a bank statement or phone bill — that shows your residential address.
What comes after Tier 3? Tier 4 raises your limits to $1,000,000/day. See Upgrading to Tier 4: High-Volume Trading.
