How do I invite my accountant or financial advisor?

How to give your accountant or financial adviser secure, view-only access to your Coinstash holdings, transaction history and EOFY statements.

You can give your accountant or financial adviser secure, read-only access to your Coinstash portfolio in just a few clicks. This guide shows you how.

Once invited, your adviser can see your holdings, transaction history and EOFY statements. That makes tax time reporting and ongoing portfolio management simpler, with no need to download and email reports each time.

Before you start

  • Use a web browser. These steps are for the Coinstash website.

  • Have your adviser's email address ready. Double-check it before you send the invitation.

  • Only invite someone you know and trust. They'll be able to see your account information.

Steps (web browser)

Step 1 – Open Settings

Log in and go to your Settings page.

Step 2 – Go to Adviser Access

In the left-hand navigation pane, click Adviser to open the Adviser Access section.

Step 3 – Invite your adviser

Click Invite Adviser.

Step 4 – Enter their email

Enter your accountant's or adviser's email address.

Step 5 – Finish

Click Close. Done! You've successfully invited your adviser.

What happens next

  • Your adviser will receive an email invitation to view your account.

  • They accept it and set up their Adviser Portal login. You can send them How to Accept a Client Invitation.

  • Once connected, they'll have view-only access. They can't trade, move funds or change your security settings. See View-Only Access Explained.

⚠️ Important

Troubleshooting

My adviser hasn't received the invitation. Ask them to check their spam or junk folder, and make sure you entered their email address correctly.

I'd rather just send my reports myself. You can download them from Settings. See How to Access and Download Your Account Reports.
