How to Access and Download Your Account Reports

Which reports you can download from Coinstash Settings on desktop, how to download them, and how to give your accountant direct read-only access.

Coinstash provides downloadable reports from your Account Settings — useful for tax time, financial year reporting, or sharing with your accountant or SMSF administrator. This guide explains which reports are available and how to download them.

Before you start

  • Use a desktop browser: Reports are downloaded from the Coinstash website on desktop.

Available reports

  • Transaction History — A full record of all your trades, deposits and withdrawals in CSV format. Ideal for tax returns and accountant uploads.

  • Account Holdings Statement — A snapshot of your current crypto and cash holdings.

  • Cash Statement — A record of your AUD deposits, withdrawals and balances.

  • CSV Export — Detailed trade-level data for tax reporting and analysis.

  • End of Financial Year (EOFY) Report — Summarises your account activity for the financial year.

For a closer look at what each report contains, see Managing Your EOFY: Statements & Reporting.

How to download your reports

  1. Log in to coinstash.com.au on desktop.

  2. Go to the Settings section.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Reports section.

  4. Select the report type you want (e.g. EOFY Report, Transaction History Report or Cash Statement Report) and download it.

Give your accountant direct access

If your accountant or SMSF administrator needs ongoing access to your reports, you can invite them through Adviser Access — no need to download and email files each time. They get read-only access, so they can't trade or move your funds.

  1. In Account Settings, click Adviser Access in the left-hand menu.

  2. Click Invite Adviser and enter their email address.

  3. Your adviser will receive an invitation to access your reports directly.

⚠️ Coinstash can't give tax advice. Please speak to a registered tax agent about your tax return.

Troubleshooting

I can't see the Reports section. Make sure you're using a desktop browser and scroll right to the bottom of the Settings page. If the Reports section still isn't visible, you can export your transaction history as a CSV file instead.

I can't download an Account Holdings Statement. See How do I access my statements? (Desktop only).

I use crypto tax software. See What are the different EOFY reports available? for the tools Coinstash works with.
