You can download your Coinstash transaction history as a CSV file — a spreadsheet-style file you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, send to your accountant, or upload to crypto tax software. This guide shows you how on the desktop website.
Before you start
Use a web browser: Exporting your transaction history as a CSV file isn't available through the mobile app. Log in at coinstash.com.au on a computer.
How to export your transaction history
Step 1 – Open Transactions
Go to your Portfolio page and click Transactions.
Step 2 – Export
Click the Export Txns button.
Step 3 – Save the file
You'll be prompted to choose where to save your CSV file, or it will download automatically, depending on your browser settings. Check your Downloads folder if you don't see it straight away.
What to do with your CSV
Upload it to your crypto tax software:
Need formal statements (Cash Statement, 30 June holdings)? See How to Access and Download Your Account Reports.
⚠️ Keep your file safe. Your CSV contains your full trading history. Only share it with people and services you trust.
⚠️ Coinstash can't give tax advice. Please speak to a registered tax agent about how to report your crypto.
Troubleshooting
I can't see the Export Txns button. Make sure you're on the desktop website (not the app) and that you've opened the Transactions view from your Portfolio.
Nothing downloaded. Check your browser's downloads list, and allow downloads from coinstash.com.au if your browser blocked it.
The file looks jumbled when I open it. Open it with a spreadsheet program such as Excel or Google Sheets rather than a text editor. Tax software can read the file directly.
