Koinly has integrated Coinstash onto their platform, so you can automate your crypto tax calculations by uploading your Coinstash transaction history in three simple steps. This guide walks you through it.
Before you start
Your Coinstash CSV file: Export your transaction history from the Coinstash desktop website first. See How do I Export My Transaction History as a CSV File?
A Koinly account: Sign up here if you don't have one.
Step 1 – Add a wallet or exchange
Log in to Koinly, click the Wallets tab, then click + Add wallet / exchange.
Step 2 – Search for Coinstash
Search for Coinstash and select it.
Step 3 – Import your file
Click Import from file and upload your Coinstash CSV file.
Tips
Upload your full history. Capital gains depend on when and at what price you first bought, so include all your Coinstash activity, not just the latest financial year.
Moved crypto in or out of Coinstash? Add your other wallets and exchanges to Koinly too, so transfers between them aren't mistaken for buys or sells.
Adding new activity later? Export a fresh CSV from Coinstash and upload it again.
⚠️ Koinly is a third-party service. Coinstash can't give tax advice or check your Koinly results — please speak to a registered tax agent about your tax return.
Troubleshooting
I can't find the export option in the app. CSV export is only available on the desktop website.
Koinly shows missing or unmatched transactions. This often means some activity happened on another wallet or exchange. Add that source to Koinly, or contact Koinly support for help with their platform.
Other tax tools: see CryptoTaxCalculator, Syla or Summ.
