Your display name is the name shown on your Coinstash profile. This guide shows you how to change it in the Coinstash mobile app.
Before you start
Display name vs legal name: You can choose anything as your display name. Changing it will not change the legal name registered to your account, which comes from your identity verification.
đ± How to change your display name
Tap your profile image in the top right-hand corner.
Select My Account.
Select Edit Profile.
Enter your new display name, then tap Update Details.
Your new display name will be saved to your profile.
FAQ
Can I change my legal name here? No. Your display name is cosmetic only. If your legal name has changed (for example, after marriage), contact our support team for help updating your verified details.
Does my display name need to match my bank account? No. Deposits and withdrawals are matched against the legal name on your account, not your display name. See Depositing AUD into Your Coinstash Account.
