This guide shows you how to change your Coinstash password in the mobile app or on the website, how to reset it if you've forgotten it, and what to check if you're having trouble logging in.
Before you start
Know your current password. To change your password from inside your account, you'll need to be logged in. If you can't log in, skip to Forgotten your password? below.
Choose a strong new password. Use at least 8 characters, including a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. Don't reuse a password you use on other sites.

Step 1 â Open your profile
Tap your profile icon (the circle icon in the top-right corner).
Step 2 â Select My Account
Tap My Account.
Step 3 â Select Edit Profile
Tap Edit Profile.
Step 4 â Enter your new password
Enter your new password, then tap Update Password. Follow any prompts to finish.

Go to Account Settings.
Click Security.
Select the option to change your password and follow the prompts.
Forgotten your password?
Click the Forgot Password link on the Coinstash login page.
Enter your registered email address.
Follow the reset link sent to your email and set a new password.

Troubleshooting login issues
Check for typos. Make sure Caps Lock is off and carefully retype your password. Even small mistakes can stop you logging in.
Turn off outdated auto-fill. Your browser or password manager might be filling in an old password. Clear the saved credentials for Coinstash and enter your current password manually.
