How to Make a Card Deposit
Open the Coinstash app and tap Deposit
Select Deposit AUD, then choose Card deposit
Enter the amount you wish to deposit (minimum $200)
Add a new card or select a saved card, then tap Continue
Complete the payment. Some banks may require additional authorisation.
Your funds will appear in your Coinstash balance instantly in most cases.

Important Requirements
⚠️ The card you use must be in the same name as your Coinstash account. Deposits from cards in a different name will not be accepted.
Only cards registered in your own name are accepted
Your bank may charge additional fees for crypto-related card transactions
Some banks block card payments to crypto exchanges — if your deposit fails, try a different card or use PayID/bank transfer instead
The 1.37% processing fee is charged by the card processor and is not retained by Coinstash

Why is there a 1.37% fee?
Card deposits incur a processing fee charged by our payment provider, WorldPay. This fee is not kept by Coinstash. To avoid this fee, deposit via PayID or bank transfer — both are free.
My card deposit was declined — what do I do?
Some banks block card payments to crypto exchanges. If your deposit is declined, contact your bank to authorise the transaction, or use PayID or bank transfer instead.
How long does a card deposit take?
Most card deposits appear in your Coinstash account instantly. In some cases it may take up to 1 business day depending on your bank.
Can I use someone else’s card?
No. All card deposits must be made from a card in the same name as your Coinstash account. Third-party card deposits will not be accepted.
