If you can't get past the CAPTCHA or "I'm not a robot" check when logging in to Coinstash, don't worry. It's a common security hurdle and usually comes down to your browser or network settings. Work through the fixes below in order.
Why does this happen?
The CAPTCHA helps us confirm that a real person, not an automated bot, is trying to log in. To protect our 50,000+ Australian investors, Coinstash uses robust internal controls. If something about your connection or browser looks unusual, or blocks the CAPTCHA from loading, the check can fail.
1. Turn off your VPN
Our security controls often block traffic from Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). A VPN masks your true location, which can trigger our security filters.
The fix: Turn off your VPN temporarily and refresh the login page.
2. Brave browser: set Shields Down
The Brave browser is excellent for privacy, but its built-in blockers often stop CAPTCHA elements from loading correctly.
The fix: Click the Lion icon (Brave Shields) in your address bar and switch Shields Up to Shields Down for coinstash.com.au only. You can turn Shields back on once you're logged in.
Using another browser with ad blockers or privacy extensions? Try pausing them for coinstash.com.au in the same way.
3. Clear cookies and refresh
Sometimes your browser stores an expired security token, which makes the CAPTCHA fail again and again.
The fix:
Go to your browser settings.
Clear cookies for coinstash.com.au.
Refresh the page and try logging in again.
4. Other quick checks
Try another browser or device. This helps rule out a setting or extension on your current one.
Switch networks. Try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi (or the other way around), especially on public or work Wi-Fi.
