The Bitcoin Chart displayed here provides you with recent changes in the Bitcoin price. Here are some definitions to help you understand what is displayed on this screen.

BTC PRICE --- This refers to the Bitcoin value.
In this example, a BTC Price of $14,281.00 means that 1 Bitcoin is worth $14,281.00 Australian Dollars.

24HR CHANGE --- This refers to the change in the BTC Price in the past 24 hours.

In this example, the BTC Price on the 6 May 2020 (“today”) and 5 May 2020 (“yesterday”) are $14,281.00 and $14,146.52 respectively. So the 24 hour Change is $14,281.00 minus $14,146.52, which equals a $134.48 change.

The percentage in brackets is the 24 Hour Change divided by today’s BTC Price. So in this example, it would be $134.48 divided by $14,281.00, which gives 0.94%.

24HR VOLUME --- This refers to the number of shares traded in the past 24 hours. Volume here represents the interest level in a stock.

If a stock is trading on high volume, then there is significant interest in the stock.

If a stock is trading on low volume, then there is not much interest in the stock.

30D VOLUME --- This refers to the 30 day average daily volume, it gives investors such as yourself an idea about the amount of stock per day that is traded. It is advisable to trade stocks with a reasonable amount of volume, since this also affects the ability to buy or sell the stock in question.

MACD PATTERN --- This is short for the “Moving Average Convergence Divergence”. This is essentially a trend-following momentum indicator that shows the relationship between two moving averages of a security’s price.

SENTIMENT --- This refers to the overall attitude of investors toward a particular security, in this instance, Bitcoin. It is the feeling or tone of a market, as revealed through the activity and price movement of the securities traded in that market.
