What is 2FA:
2FA stands for Two-Factor Authentication. It's a security process that requires users to provide two different passcodes to access an account or system. The goal is to add an extra layer of protection beyond just a password.
Example:
When logging into your Coinstash account:
First, you enter your password.
Then, you're asked to enter a code generated by an app like Google Authenticator.
This makes it much harder for attackers to gain access to your account, even if they have your password.
How to set up 2FA:
Click on your profile image / name in the top right hand corner.

Select "Settings".

Click on "Security" in the left hand menu.

Click on the "Turn 2FA On" button.

A code will be sent to your email address. Enter the email code and click on the "Continue" button.
If you request more than one email code, only the last email code that you requested will be accepted. All other email codes will automatically expire.

If you don't already have a 2FA app on your mobile device, we recommend downloading and installing Google Authenticator which is free.

Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device. Click on the "+" button.

In the Google Authenticator app, select "Scan a QR code". This will start the camera on your mobile device.

Scan the QR code using your mobile device and then enter the 6-digit code from the Authenticator App.

Click on the "Activate Two Factor Authentication" button, to finish setting up 2FA.

You will know that 2FA has been set up correctly if the option to "Turn 2FA On" has changed to "Turn 2FA Off".
