Setting up a company account with Coinstash allows your business to trade and hold digital assets. The process involves creating an account, completing company verification, and ensuring all directors and major shareholders have verified their identity.

Before you start

Make sure you have the following ready before beginning:

• ASIC company extract — download from the ASIC Connect registry or
• • Australian Company Number (ACN) — found on your ASIC company extract
• Details of all company directors — full names and identification documents
• Details of all shareholders with 25% or more ownership — full names and identification documents

All directors and shareholders with 25% or more ownership must have their own verified Coinstash account before the company account can be approved.

Step 1: Create your account

Head to coinstash.com.au or open the Coinstash mobile app and select Create Account.

• Enter your email address and a strong, unique password, then click Create Account
• Verify your email — enter the 6-digit code sent to your inbox
• Verify your mobile — provide your Australian mobile number and enter the SMS code
• Complete the short investor questionnaire (or select Skip for now)

Step 2: Submit your company details

Once your personal account is created, navigate to Verify Company from your account dashboard.

You will be asked to provide:

• Company name
• ASIC company extract — download from the ASIC Connect registry or
• • Australian Company Number (ACN) — found on your ASIC company extract
• Director details — full name, date of birth, and residential address for each director
• Shareholder details — full details for any shareholder holding 25% or more ownership

Step 3: Individual identity verification

All directors and 25%+ shareholders must complete individual identity verification (KYC). Each person will receive a verification link via email and SMS.

• This is a standard identity check — government-issued photo ID and a selfie
• Each person must complete this on their own verified Coinstash account
• Verification is typically completed within minutes

Step 4: Our team reviews your application

Once all details and identity verifications are submitted, our Brisbane-based onboarding team will review your application.

• Review time: Typically within 1 business day
• Same-day approval: Most company accounts are activated on the same day once all identity checks are complete
• You will be notified: We will let you know via email once your company account is approved and ready to use

Step 5: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (recommended)

Before trading, we strongly recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your account. This adds an important layer of security to your company assets.
