What are Loyalty Holding Rewards?

Loyalty Holding Rewards are STASH Points you earn for maintaining balances of selected eligible digital assets in your account on Coinstash.

STASH Points under the Loyalty Holding Rewards accrue daily, are credited weekly and will automatically appear in your account in the Rewards section.

How Loyalty Holding Rewards Work

STASH Points are awarded based on the weekly calculation of the daily average balance of eligible assets maintained in your account.

• STASH Points are calculated and accrue daily. Accrued STASH Points are shown as “pending” in your account until credited. 
• STASH Points are credited every Tuesday at approximately 10am AEST.
• Only certain selected digital assets on the eligible list qualify.
• You can view your pending STASH Points under the weekly loyalty rewards in the mobile app.

Which Assets Earn Loyalty Holding Rewards?

Not all digital assets listed on the platform are eligible.

Eligible assets will be listed in the Rewards page/screen when the program is active.

Eligibility may change over time at our discretion, including in connection with program updates.

How Do I Start Earning Loyalty Holding Rewards?

To begin earning Loyalty Holding Rewards, open the Rewards screen in the Coinstash app. The first time you enter, you’ll see a short tutorial. Complete the tutorial and tap Enter Rewards to activate your rewards.

When Are Rewards Credited?

STASH Points under the Loyalty Holding Rewards are credited:

• Weekly: Every Tuesday at approximately 10:15am AEST.

STASH Points awarded will appear in your STASH Points History after they are credited.

How Are Rewards Calculated?

The amount of STASH Points awarded depends on:

1. Your average balance of eligible assets;
2. The reward rate set for each asset; and 
3. The number of days you maintain the asset balance during the period.

The amount of STASH that is accrued weekly is calculated based on the following formula:

Weekly Accrued STASH = Weekly Eligible Balances x Conversion Factor

“Weekly Eligible Balances” means the sum of the Daily Eligible Balances during the weekly period;

“Conversion Factor” means a conversion rate set by Coinstash from time to time.*

Daily Eligible Balances = Daily balance of eligible digital asset(s) at Accrual Time x Daily Rate

“Accrual Time” means 00:00 UTC time;

“Daily Rate” means the advertised rate divided by 365. *

Coinstash may adjust the calculation method or eligibility at any time according to program terms.

What Can I Do With Loyalty Holding Rewards?

STASH Points credited under the Loyalty Holding Rewards can be redeemed for:

• Certain selected digital assets which may not be on the list of eligible assets for Loyalty Holding Rewards (via STASH Convert);
• Lucky draws;
• Wheel-based games;
• Mystery Boxes;
• Merchandise.

Do Loyalty Holding Rewards Reset STASH Point Expiry?

No.

STASH Points earned from Loyalty Holding Rewards do not reset the 6-month expiry timer.

To keep your STASH Points active, you must:

• Earn STASH Points from Stash Back or Promotions, or
• Redeem STASH Points,

at least once every 6 months.

Is Loyalty Holding Rewards the Same as Staking?

No. Earning STASH Points through Loyalty Holding Rewards is not the same as staking. 

STASH Points (as our platform loyalty points) are awarded to reward our customers for staying active by maintaining digital asset balances with Coinstash. They form part of our loyalty program, Coinstash Rewards, that are designed to reward customers for remaining engaged with the platform.

• Eligible assets and reward rates may change without notice.
• Rewards are denominated in STASH Points, not AUD or crypto.
• Points cannot be transferred to another account.
• If a calculation or transaction is reversed, rewards may also be adjusted or removed.
• STASH Points awarded are not provided for investment purposes, and are not intended to generate any financial return. They do not represent any right to payment, income, interest, or other financial benefit.
