What are Account Verification Tiers?

Coinstash sets daily deposit and withdrawal limits that are based on your account verification level. Users with higher verification levels benefit from increased transaction limits.

Your current account tier determines your daily deposit and withdrawal limit.

The 6-tier structure is detailed below:

Tier 0

There is no ability to deposit or withdraw AUD and cryptocurrency for Tier 0 customers. This is a “view only” account.

Tier 1

AUD deposits and withdrawals up to $20,000 per day are available for Tier 1 customers. Unlimited crypto deposits are available. Crypto withdrawals are not available.

A fully verified ID, email and phone number is required for a Tier 1 account.

Your account must be at least Tier 2 to withdraw and send crypto.

Tier 2

AUD deposits and withdrawals up to $20,000 per day are available for Tier 2 customers. Unlimited crypto deposits are available. Crypto withdrawals up to $20,000 per day are available.

In addition to the Tier 1 requirements, a Facematch check is required for a Tier 2 account.

Tier 3

AUD deposits and withdrawals up to $100,000 per day are available for Tier 3 customers. Unlimited crypto deposits are available. Crypto withdrawals up to $100,000 per day are available.

In addition to the Tier 2 requirements, a proof of address document, e.g. a utility bill, phone bill or bank statement, is required for a Tier 3 account.

Tier 4

AUD deposits and withdrawals up to $1,000,000 per day are available for Tier 4 customers. Unlimited crypto deposits are available. Crypto withdrawals up to $1,000,000 per day are available.

In addition to the Tier 3 requirements, a completed source of wealth / funds form, is required for a Tier 4 account.

Tier 5

AUD deposits and withdrawals up to $10,000,000 per day are available for Tier 5 customers. Unlimited crypto deposits are available. Crypto withdrawals up to $10,000,000 per day are available.

In addition to the Tier 4 requirements, approval from a Coinstash Director, is required for a Tier 5 account.

Regarding AUD deposits:
* If your AUD deposit exceeds your daily limit, the amount equal to your daily limit will be credited to your Coinstash account each day. For example: If your daily limit is $20,000 AUD and you deposit $30,000 AUD, you will be credited $20,000 AUD on day 1, and credited the remaining $10,000 AUD on day 2.
* The daily limit is refreshed each day at 10:00am Brisbane time (UTC 0:00).
